The rules of being a standard wedding guest are pretty simple. The brief is not much more than turning up on time, being nice, and getting something from the gift list. However, there are plenty of factors that can contribute to screwing this up. From long held resentments to one too many glasses of wine, there's always somebody who ends the day in the happy couple's bad books — and the goal is to make sure that it doesn't end up being you.
Unfortunately for @mediocrehailey, she failed miserably in this task after making a big mistake at a friend's wedding this summer. Cutting into the wedding cake before the bride and groom had taken the first slice, she put the humiliating moment on TikTok so the internet could share in her shame. Needless to say, most viewers were not impressed with her ballsy behavior. Here's hoping she didn't create too many arguments that night.
